Scrolling on firefox causes holes in the virtualized table before it refreshes

Describe the bug
I opened the demo site and browsed to the template with all the column types - The scrolling behaviour, even after 100s of rows have populated is very poor. It appears that the virtualized table does not preload any rows directly outside of the table and so any scroll action shows blank space for a large part of a second each way. It is a very poor user experience.

To Reproduce
As above.

Expected behavior
Scrolling should be smooth and clean. Tens of rows should be preloaded to support this.
