Summary

I have to disable proxy manually and remove the fake certificate manually.

Really?

@expresidx The proxy should automatically be turned off once you close the app. If that is not the case, its a bug and we will definitely look into it.
We keep the certificate installed so as to not keep asking the user for permissions to install it again for every session. Installing this manually at the start of every user session, would just lead to a very bad user experience.

I understand that the certificate staying installed even after the app is removed might seem like an issue, but we don't really have much control during the uninstallation process.
(This seems like a consistent problem across other network debugging tools too, hence I am not sure if there is a way around this)

We will try to create a detailed page for proper cleanup inside our documentation but we are all ears for any suggestions you might have to address this issue any better.
