What is your question?

Renovate opened a PR to update one of our python libraries.

The pdm.lock and pyproject.toml are both in the root of the repository. I enabled debug logs and have attached what seemed the relevant section.

Based upon the above error message and provided logs any pointers into what I should be doing to debug further?

The errors is trying to inform you that the enviroment in which the bot is running does not have the pdm manager installed which is necessary for updating the pdm.lock file.

I am using the self hosted option, and am using the full image. I was under the impression this image had all tooling necessary installed on it. Is that not correct?

I haven't used that image for this use-case yet .. so can't comment correctly. You'll need to wait for maintainres comment :)
