The instructions for setting up the app on slack are a little out of date, but I managed to get the permissions set up and the app installed. This gave me an OAuth token in the form "wwww-ddddddddddd-ddddddddddddd-wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"
Entering this into the App oAuth Token area, and selecting a Jira customer just results in the error message "Unable to validate slack token". I don't know if this is due to connection issues, or a change in the format of the token string, or something else, as that's all the information shown.
Which is a shame, as this looked like a really good integration.
