(GitHub) Markdown supports checkboxes:

- [ ] unchecked checkbox
- [x] checked checkbox
  • unchecked checkbox
  • checked checkbox

As far as I can see, this is currently not possible with Jazzy.
I would appreciate, if this feature was added.

Neither Redcarpet nor CommonMark (see Xcode quick help) support this -- CommonMarker, the Ruby commonmark wrapper, does. You could maybe add manual support for it in list_item in jazzy_markdown.rb though.
