Is this RFE related to an Existing Problem? If so, please describe:

Customer ask for using Hauler to sync a directory and then share the directory out. Use case is for rpm repos.
Additional ask for Hauler to sync a github repo. Used case similar to a directory. The output would be a directory served out.

Describe Proposed Solution(s):
Make it a manifest object?

Describe Possible Alternatives:
The current method is to git clone and compress as a tar. Similarly tar the directory, sync and serve. Once the fileserver is running go into the directory and uncompress. It is a few extra steps.

Additional Context:

Love hauler!
