Can you explain how to configure a multi monitor mode?

Hi osos2404, to use multiple monitors it's necessary to make some adjustments in the bspwm configuration.
You can use arandr app for easy mode, because you'll need a script that detects the monitors and you can define the screen resolution, among other things.

When you've used the application save the configuration (script), for example in ~/.local/bin/screenlayout.sh and make it executable.

chmod +x ~/.local/bin/screenlayout.sh

Now, edit the bspwm configuration file by adding the following line:

$HOME/.local/bin/screenlayout.sh

You can assign how many workspaces you want for each monitor in bspwmrc, for example:

bspc monitor HDMI1 -d I II III IV V
bspc monitor eDP1 -d VI VII VIII IX X
