Firefox uses intrinsic size instead of actual size to calculate track size

It's a bit hard to describe the actual problem so see this CodePen. The goal is for the image to be responsive in width as well as in height so it always keeps it's aspect-ratio. Grid allows you to achive this very easily and it's working fine in Chrome and Safari but not in Firefox.
