I have one interface that can start different plugins but I am unable to programmatically know whether the plugin is available for the said software. Therefore if I try to start the Annotations plugin, Service crashes (KeyError is not handled).
There could be a name command similar to the version command?
A string 'N' could result in an answer 'service' or 'capture'
