Is your proposal related to a problem?

Some kafka topics have very different producer activity over time, and troubleshooting or investigating message traffic is often useful.

Describe the solution you'd like

In the messages view, above the message list I would like a timeline with a bar diagram indicating produced message volume over time. Selecting portions on the graph would adjust which offset the messages list starts from

Describe alternatives you've considered

Linking to a grafana dashboard, preferably directly from the UI
