Recommended way to store configuration in a Helm managed environment

Dear all,

I'm in the process of installing the Zot Registry an a managed Kubernetes cluster (Amazon EKS in this case) with Helm.

I now want to enable the S3 storage back end. Is there any any recommended way to provide the configuration(-file) for this case? Building a new image or configuring extra storage for the config file both seems to contradict the easy configuration approaches made with Zot, so I thought I ask if there is any option to provide the configuration in an easier way that I'm not yet aware of?

@rchincha yes, that's probably the point where I have to start to apply the changes. I'm an absolute noob in regards to k8s & Helm, so it might be that my question belongs to the realm of stupidity (sorry if that's the case!). I already figured out that ConfigMaps are a way to go, but I'm not a 100% certain yet.

In any case, I will comment here if I found a solution. But until then, any helpful suggestion is highly appreciated.
