Describe the bug

Hi, I'm facing an issue with powerState events stopping to be received, I reported this on the corresponding project, but as told by the main developer, the problem seems to be on the pyatv side, as explained here.

Basically, after about 40-45 seconds, the Apple TV powerState (on / off) events stop being received / processed by pyatv, and related logging also stops.

Error log

No error log, the logs just stop.

How to reproduce the bug?

Use an apple TV remote, then switch an Apple TV on and off recuringly, it works for about 40 seconds, then pyatv does not detect the power state changes anymore.

What is expected behavior?

When you switch an apple TV on or off the pyatv scripts should be still listening on those powerState events permanently, including days and weeks later.

Operating System

Linux / Raspbian 11

Python

3.9

pyatv

0.9.8

Device

Apple TV 4K TvOS 17.2
