Missing armv7 images #2324
Comments
I can try enable building them again. Had to disable them because image build kept failing. |
Hmmm... got it, well, my only fear is that we can easily get stuck after very few months with Apple TV updates if we get stuck on frozen versions. 🤔 It's already the 2nd time (In the last 3 years) my Apple TV management from home automation gets broken due to issues related with some end of support... |
You don't have to depend on my images of you don't want to (they are merely a convenience). You can always build one yourself locally and run from the cached image. Or write your own Dockerfile and use any base image (built for armv7) you like. Until I have enabled building of armv7 and assuming it works now, that is probably what you need to do (if docker is a must). |
What do you need help with?
As suggested here it would be really cool if you could provide armv7 images again, I mean, I have all this setup running on a Raspberry Pi 4B bought brand new only 2 years ago, along with all my home automation stack, and there are still lots of this kind of RPis still running on earth, I can't imagine having to rebuild a whole device from scratch just 2 years later (or every 2 years), as if it was completely outdated. 🤷♂️ Thanks.
