The dragged items are sometimes split into several lists

On macOS, it may happen that some dragged items don't appear in the list of files to rename. Once this list is closed, a second list will open with the remaining ones. To add insult to injury, the modifications carried out in the second list will be ignored.

This is a known issue with OS X Launch Services. If this happens to you, you may increment the 😕 reaction below. If you are aware of a workaround, tell us in the comments.

Workaround when all the items have the same parent

Drag-and-drop this parent only. The list will contain it, plus all its children.
