Hash mismatch for grpcio (again)

Re-raising this issue: #174

I've just had the same issue when downloading the grpcio wheel - the download pauses and I get hash mismatch error.

The error from pip should be that the download has failed.

pip3 download grpcio=1.59.2 just failed for me 3/4 times in a row before eventually working. Again, this is a download that seems to get stuck when throws a hash error up
pip3 download grpcio=1.59.3 worked first try - could have been a fluke?
