Stop auto background-color

Hi, I wanna use some of picocss' nice features, however, when I import it, in the scss/layout/document.scss, the background-color of the root is automatically set, as I'm using a CDN for delivery, I can't manually change it, is there some option to turn this off or can I change it somehow?
