System Details:

  • Operating System: Linux
  • Distro: Arch
  • Desktop Environment: Hyprland
  • Persepolis Version: 4.0.0
  • How do you install Persepolis: Arch repo

Issue Description and steps to reproduce:
Hey everyone :-) I finally migrated from uGet, and am loving Persepolis so far. However I quickly encountered a minor issue. When the application is restarted, for example when rebooting after an update, the download statuses are reset to stopped, even if they were previously downloading. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or intended, but in either case I would like to be able to have my downloads automatically resume when the application starts up and any advice would be appreciated. I have to download ~100GB files regularly so having it automatically resuming will save me some micromanagement.

Hello
Thank you very much.
I think the current method is correct. Because the user may send a new download process with the browser and maybe! he/she does not want the previous download processes.

Okay, thats reasonable, thanks for the explanation. Do you have any recommendations for changing this? Are there any arguments I could pass to persepolis when I start it up on boot that will start downloads?

I would work on it. So I will add a "feature request" tag to this issue.
