Intel QSV not working on Qnap TS-264

I tried to enable Intel QSV on my QNAP for hardware transcoding. While VAAPI does work, QSV is known to deliver better performance. After activating QSV all my movies turned to a more or less stuttering mess so i guess that QSV does not work on my NAS and the transcoding is done in software instead. Since most NAS Systems are equipped with low end CPU's/GPU it would be nice to have QSV as an option.

As far as I know hardware acceleration can still be done via VAAPI. Whilst transcoding my CPU usage is very low (I also have a TS-264).
