I own a Brother DCP-7080D printer and scanner device. It functions perfectly as a printer when using the brlaser drivers. Unfortunately, I encountered compatibility issues with the scanner functionality on my Raspberry Pi for the driver I downloaded from the Brother website is not compatible with the arm64 architecture of the Raspberry Pi.
So, is there a plan to release drivers for it?
