We seem to have a massive word dump in our contributing page, presumably due to it being copied over from other project by @rynowak. Some of it I believe doesn't really need to be there (e.g., editors) and may not even be true (e.g., godoc comments).

We should slim this down and ideally keep it minimal so that new contributors don't feel overwhelmed having to read so many pages.
