Sometimes, I make notes with some mp4 or mkv videofiles. Is it possible, to embed video player/file on paperwork note ?

Can't you use the native player included in your browser?

Work in browser. But it would be better if the paperwork was a preview/thumbnail of the video file. Eg. an automatic thumbnail and below the link to the file. It is not necessary, but could in the future

out of scope for Paperwork.... built for note taking not file sharing.
Only properly encoded H.264 with an image url in the metadata can be used to thumbnail in the browser, 95% of the cases you need ffmpeg or any video renderer on the serverside to capture/generate thumbnails for video files.

Will do, once paperwork becomes more popular than gmail or youtube.

Will take this on the v2 roadmap. The idea would be to include a video thumbnail for videos.
