[Feature Request] Hide columns in document list if user does not have permissions #6414

DescriptionCurrently, the columns which paperless-ngx displays in the table mode of the document list are always:
The "Notes" column is hidden if the "Enable notes" Checkbox in the Settings is unchecked. For all the other columns, they are displayed independent if the user has the permissions to actually see the contents for a document. For example, if a user does not have the permissions for "Correspondents" or for "Document Types", then still, these columns stay, yet are empty. I'm proposing that for the following columns we check for the permissions of the user and hide them in the table if the user does not have the
This can be easily done by using the Main motivation: I'm using paperless permissions to hide features I don't want to see. This works well for the editing form, but doesn't work well for the table. I'm happy to prepare an PR if there is a chance this gets merged. OtherNo response |
