I think you'll find your answer by comparing which one is taught more in educational settings, like colleges and other schools. |

OTOH we find it hard to recruit Vue developers, so... |

Where are all the employed devs championing Vue and the seniors devs introducing it into the company stacks? I introduced it at the last company I worked at and I introduced it into my current company's stack. Once something is part of a company's ecosystem it is about near impossible to get rid of it. If you are a proponent of Vue, don't look for Vue jobs, look for dev jobs (if you can do Vue but not react than you don't know JS, skills issue) and push for Vue when new projects are available. |

Not strictly a technical question but I've been looking for a job for a while now and it's hard not to notice the dominance of React.
Vue is my preferred framework and I see Vue with Nuxt as a complete full-stack solution to building applications of all sizes.
I am in the UK and the IT market is generally very bad, but even venturing outside of the UK and looking at job ads in the USA or Europe does not really return many results - the lack of Vue jobs is staggering.
And where there are any, they're usually coupled with some ancient back-end written in Laravel or .NET. Sometimes Python.
What's the reason for this? Are companies simply not choosing Vue over other frameworks?
Or perhaps it's because Nuxt is not mature enough?
This is really an open-ended question, but it certainly is frustrating that my Vue / Nuxt development skills are not as easily marketable as React.
What's everyone's experience? For those of you that use Vue on a daily basis, do you work for a company or are you dabbling in your personal projects? Which companies are using Vue in their stack?
