calling a slot function in setup will give you vnodes before thy are mounted, so there are no elements yet. So this is expected beahviour. Please explain what problem you want to solve so the community can assist you in finding a solution. |

That's a side effect of hoisting. vnodes that can never change (because they have no bindings) are hoisted out of the render function and re-used. All other vnodes (such as the one with the click event) will be re-created on each slot() call, so there is no way to get the element the way you try to. |
