Author edit: I was using the Powershell terminal of VS Code, and I was only able to get the above thing to work when I ran VS Code as administrator. |

It seems shakapacker 7.0 includes a symlink and Windows has some issues with symlinks. I'm not a Windows expert and thought this was easier in newer versions of Windows, but apparently it's not? From previous issues I tend to recall some command that needed to be run to enable creating symlinks as a regular user? @MSP-Greg any insights? |

For now,I have installed shakapacker using specific_install, and it seems to be working. But, I would love to know a more long term solution, if any exists. 😄 |
