How to edit these replacement options?

I recently installed ParaglideJs with:

• @inlang/plugin-m-function-matcher
• inlang – i18n supercharged

It allows you to easily extract sentenses with Inlang: extract message action from the command palette for example.
Once you hit the action you have to type the translation key. All this is fine, but when you continue you will get 2 options as replacement options for your string.

The last option suggests we can change them, on click you will be redirected to: https://github.com/opral/monorepo/tree/main/inlang/source-code/ide-extension#3%EF%B8%8F%E2%83%A3-configuration

But on there I could not find a way to add/adjust the options. Does anyone here know?

I want to adjust the import * as m to something like import * as i18n and use it like that.
Is that even possible?

Yes, no, yes.

Yes, you can change the import however you'd like. No, the m-function-matcher plugin won't recognize i18n.* usage. Yes, you could write your own message reference plugin for i18n.* usage.

Internally in our company I got questions if we could adjust is to make it more clear that it was for localization.
They didn't like it was just a single letter and suggested it to be i18n for example since it made it more clear that is was about the localization.

The plugin mostly worked when I renamend the imports, but all the documentation specified using it as m.*. So I trying to find the thing that I broke with this change. Also, I was wondering if I should change it or let them know this is how we have to use it (or make our own plugin). (seems like we have to stick to m.* at least for now)

When I saw the "how to edit these replacement options" prompt I thought maybe I could adjust some setting to change it to whatever.
That would be a nice addition. Then peeps can decide themselve how to import them m.* , message.* , i18n.* or whatever.
But if I understood correctly this not an option and the replacement options are no longer a thing themselves either?

Yep, just removed the option in 7037bc8. You can write your own plugin, see https://github.com/opral/monorepo/blob/main/inlang/source-code/plugins/m-function-matcher/src/ideExtension/messageReferenceMatchers.ts. But, I recommend to "suck it up" and call it m.*.
