still see many design questions as "coming soon"

Using this platform for 3 months now, I am hardly seeing any progress made on "coming soon" questions. Can the author please complete those questions as few of them were asked to me in interviews and I would love to know more about them. Thanks

@avacado thanks for the feedback. We had some a shift in focus recently and hence the delay in system design questions authoring. However we're making progress with our hiring and should be able to get back to them soon.

I've joined GFE recently and will be helping out with the content. Do let us know which system design questions you'd like us to prioritize!

Yeah, there are a lot of coming soon system design questions that I'd love to learn from. An issue here is the system design questions do not have a date they were added to the platform, so I cannot compare the date of this original post and what progress was made since then. Would expect there to be a decent amount of progress, as it's been 4 months, but there's just no way of knowing.

Here are the current coming soon system design questions:

• Google Docs
• Video Streaming (e.g. YouTube)
• Google Sheets
• Photo Gallery (e.g. Google Photos)
• Music Streaming (e.g. Spotify)
• Pinterest
• Diagram Tool (e.g. Lucidchart)
• Video Conferencing (e.g. Zoom)

Based on this post, it looks like we can infer there hasn't been any progress since at least May 5th, since these were the questions proposed to be next up.

While I do like the platform, tbh would expect more communication given this is a paid platform.

any update here @gfeeng / @yangshun ? How long will it take to make progress on this? It seems unfair to be a paid members and yet not updating resources regularly. To maintain this community, there should be an accountability to update design questions which were originally intended to be coming soon

Hi @avacado @nicholaai, firstly huge apologies on the delay for system design questions. We've been busy working on a site-wide redesign (launched in July) and redesign of the coding workspace (launched over the weekend). System design content is next and that's our focus from now on.
