@githubofkrishnadhas I can't say why you can't create topics when creating a new repository through the API, but the way to do it is to use the replace all repository topics endpoint after creating your repository. |

REST API - include topics to be added as part of repository creation / updation
I have been looking into the REST api provided by Github for developers. this is very useful for large and small projects to automate repo creation programattically.
I have been wondering why the repo creation / repositotry updation end points are not equipped to include topic as a argument for its operations. i was reffering the below doc.
https://docs.github.com/en/rest/repos/repos?apiVersion=2022-11-28#create-an-organization-repository
I am not sure this is the right place, if not please guide me to the right place.
The use case is: as we know topics can be used to group repos of same topic / ideas .this can be helpful in including along with api.
