Your index.html is in templates folder so you should save it as docs(and rename templates folder as docs) or use the above trick, including your folder containing index.html(path) to url. In your case it was https://kishan42.github.io/flask_calculator_app/ and the index.html is in templates subfolder so I added the templates/ in the url and the link is https://kishan42.github.io/flask_calculator_app/templates/

Technical answer: There is no file user/verify-email in your repository, which the "problematic link" points at.

I assume you'd want to do some server side processing based on the token and email address, you can't do that with GitHub Pages. It only allows static sites. You'll need to find a host that lets you run whatever server-side code you have.

In my own case. The page loads and navigation is fine, but only the homepage can be refreshed successfully. Other pages throw this error when refreshed. In development environment, it still works fine. The Issue started when I added a base URL (my repo name), to vite.config.js file and deployed at GitHub. Any explanation is welcome. thanks.

1. You have configured Pages to deploy from docs/ within your repository (that shows up here), but there is no such directory. Most likely changing it to deploy from the the repository root is the right choice.

Like almost all people above, your repository is lacking an index.html file at the top level. Directly accessing a file that exists works just fine, e.g.: https://viktoriiaslobodeniuk.github.io/testTaskPro/package.json

You can either change the layout in your repository, or write a custom publishing workflow that builds and deploys just the part you want (I assume that'd be the build/ directory).

edit: found the cause. My static files are located in /static, but the index.html refers to /My-Website/static, when "My-Website" itself should've been the root. Fixed by making a "My-Website" folder and copy static dir into it. Working fine now (although need to find out how to update automatically)

I think the error is already you have a repo named "scriptineer.github.io". what happens is github pages want you to make a repo named "your-user-name.github.io" for hosting a web page or else you can go to the repository settings and go to pages option and can host that way. you already have a folder named "scriptineer.github.io" which causes error according to my theory
