Transferring a GitHub Pro membership from one account to another involves a few steps. Here’s a detailed guide on how you can achieve this: Step 1: Verify the Eligibility of Your New AccountEnsure that your new GitHub account meets the eligibility criteria for a GitHub Pro membership through the GitHub Student Developer Pack. This usually requires having a valid university email address or some form of academic verification. Step 2: Apply for GitHub Pro on Your New AccountBefore deleting your old account, apply for the GitHub Pro membership on your new account using your university ID. Here’s how:

Hi All,
I have two GitHub accounts: one older account with a Pro membership from the university and a newer account I created for a small uni project. I want to keep this new account and delete the old one with Pro. How can I transfer the Pro membership to this new account? I was thinking of deleting the Pro account and then reapplying for a free Pro membership using my university ID. Will that work? Is there an alternative way?
Thanks
