Annotations not shown when start_column is greater then end_column #121076

I checked more use cases and if I understand correctly the annotation won't be shown if the start_line is different than the end_line and start_column and end_column are defined. In case the start_line and end_line are different the annotation will be shown only if the start_column and end_column are not part of the request. Is that correct? |

Hi,
I'm trying to update a check with some annotations.
I noticed a weird issue - If the start_column is greater than the end_column the annotations are not shown.
When the annotation refers to a chunk of code that extends on multiple lines that could be a valid case.
Is that indeed the case - that if the end_column is greater than the end_column the annotation won't be shown?
