Github suddenly not working? fatal: unable to access 'H://.gitconfig'

I was coding like normal, but all of a sudden i cant connect to any of my repositories, github desktop says Cant find "repository name", and no matter how many times i give it the file path is wont accept it, and it will give me the message ' fatal: unable to access 'H://.gitconfig' ' if i tell it to reclone it or do anything else.

P.S. This is on a school laptop, so there is a possibility that the school added in something to block github.
