I'm a software engineer and have been an active user of GitHub for more than a decade. My wife recently joined a code camp. She created her account with all her classmates in the class under the guidance of their teacher. They created an empty repository and another repository for practicing markdown syntaxes. The next day I guided her to sign up GitBook through GitHub's SSO and created another repository on GitHub for linking with the note of GitBook. A few days later, she could no longer log in to her GitHub account due to the suspension of her account. I guided her to create a ticket but the customer service didn't resume her account, instead, they said her account was flagged for being created in an account farming effort.
She has only signed up GitBook as the 3rd party service through her GitHub account. Because of the suspension on her GitHub account, she cannot log in to her notebook on GitBook anymore. This has caused her great inconvenience and has also greatly dampened her enthusiasm as a beginner.
My I know what behavior she has done in my description may violate the usage policy?
Update: GitHub decided to remain the suspension to her account without any further explanation after we explained and asked for reasons in another ticket.
