Hello @alitariq4589 From what I read and know, we can't change or configure the expiration app token generated by OAuth. On the other hand, you should find some GHA to achieve the refresh and store a new one. I hope this helps |

Hello all,
I have created my public github app for clients to use and I have set up everything (from fetching code from GitHub to getting access token) using this documentation.
The only problem I am facing is that the default expiration of the github app token is 28800 seconds (which is 8 hours). I understand that there is a refresh token which I receive along with token with which I can automate the process of refreshing the token before 8 hours. But isn't there a convenient process by which I can simply set a longer expiry duration at the time of generating the token?
Edit: It would be great if there is a parameter by which we can mention a desirable expiration date instead of default 8 hours fixed by github.
Any help will be appreciated.
