HI there - we love to see a good GitHub citizen ❤️ Have you checked out this discussion? There are quite a few methods mentioned on deleting multiple files that could be of use. |

I've made a mistake, for quite some time, and just realize it and the potential implications.
Have been building my project into a deploy directory. The files for different platforms are date and time stamped. The previous deploy files are deleted. Then committed and pushed. This is done so the latest is online for download and linked from a GitHub Pages site as well. This version is still in development so there have been no formal Releases.
If I am not mistaken that means there are a lot of uniquely-named large-ish 50-60 GB files being kept that are no longer relevant.
Or, because the previous deploy files are are deleted, is there no problem? Only the latest copy is kept??
I would like to be a good GitHub citizen and clean-up my mess, if there is one.
I can see individual pushes, but going through dozens of pushes and gathering all the different filenames to use in some removal procedure is daunting and prone to error.
Can GitHub do some magic or someone point me in a reasonable direction?
