'Open with Xcode' breaks assignment of image files with umlaut in file name to Image Set in .xcassets

If you download the contents of a repository with 'Open with Xcode' the assignment between image files with an umlaut in the file name (e.g. 'Ü-Umlaut.png') and their Image Set in an .xcassets breaks. The image files remain in the image set but are unassigned.

Re-assigning the image files does not help. They will return to unassigned shortly after.

The behavior does not occur if you download the repository as a ZIP-archive.
