I am a newbie. I have installed Chatwoot in Caprover. The installation is very smooth. I have the Chatwoot instance up and running in no time. However I am not able to verify new agents. No mail goes out
(i) I configured an Inbox using Gmail IMAP and SMTP. The Gmail messages show up in the inbox but when I reply to that, it goes no where
(ii) I had tried Postfix. I had an email set up and even got the SSL thru Dovecot (all with SPF and DKIM). However it seems Caprover has its own SSL cerificate. Chatgpt suggested that I use that certificate for email also but I am not able to properly do that
(iii) You have detailed instruction for setting environment variables. However I am not clear how to edit the env.example file that you say is in the root directory of the project. Where is it located? Is the location same even for Chatwoot installation on Caprover? Is the setting of env file same even for such installations? I see env variables inside Chatwoot in Caprover. How do we set the variables there in the proper way? If we set the env variables in the terminal, will it get overwritten by Caprover?
Can someone help me, please? (Advance apologies for my ignorance. I am not coder but I just want to use Chatwoot for a Non Profit Project)
I know these are too many questions for an excellent platform like Chatwoot that is offered as an Open Source program. I see lot of value in your product.
I have a humble suggestion that if you can guide just for Chatwoot installation thru Caprover, it would be fantastic.
