Incorrect number of bugs scraped off github

As suggested in openhatch/oh-mainline#1515, I'm opening this issue to report that our project https://openhatch.org/projects/pioneer currently lists 30 "volunteer opportunities" which is not the number I had expected. I had thought it would either show all our (currently) 295 open issues, or only our (currently) 3 Bite-sized.

As far as I can tell, the "Bite-sized" label is correctly set in our configuration page:

Looking at the issues openhatch lists for our project many are closed since a long time back.

The first (top listed) bug is ab open bite-sized flag issue and correctly listed. However, the next two are old pull requests that have been merged and closed.

So, it seems to me like the list is not being updated. And why is it scraping pull requests?
