Description:
When the Foobar2000 playlist is empty, I can use NVDA’s object navigation to find and access the "Header Control" list inside the playlist area. This list allows me to customize which columns are displayed in the playlist (e.g., show only the title and artist).
However, once the playlist is populated with tracks, I can no longer locate this Header Control list via object navigation, regardless of my attempts.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Foobar2000 and ensure the current playlist is empty.
Use NVDA’s object navigation to locate the "Header Control" list within the playlist. You should be able to find and interact with it.
Add one or more tracks to the playlist, making it non-empty.
Attempt to find the same "Header Control" list again using object navigation.
Notice that once the playlist has content, you can no longer locate the Header Control list.
Expected Result:
The Header Control list should be accessible via object navigation regardless of whether the playlist is empty or contains tracks, allowing users to adjust playlist columns as needed.
Actual Result:
When the playlist contains tracks, NVDA cannot locate the Header Control list using object navigation.
Operating System: Windows 11 24H2 (AMD64) build 26100.2454
Additional Information:
This issue affects my ability to customize the displayed columns in the playlist once it contains tracks, significantly limiting the flexibility and usability of Foobar2000 with NVDA.
