At the request of some users(https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/topic/23017/mouse-cursor-visibility-when-typing-starts), Notepad++ was changed to follow the "Hide pointer while typing" option in the mouse control panel pointer option, but I want the mouse pointer to always be visible regardless of this option for a consistent experience. If the mouse pointer disappears while typing, it is inefficient because it takes time to find the mouse pointer later. This is the reason why almost all text editors, including Windows Notepad and UltraEdit, do not hide the mouse pointer.
I wish there was an option in Notepad++'s settings to allow the user to decide whether or not to hide the mouse pointer while typing.
Describe the solution you'd like.
"Hide mouse pointer while typing" check box option. If checked, it will be hidden, if unchecked, it will not be hidden.
