I've recently migrated my project from nose to nose2. On my nose setup, I utilized the plugin nose-randomly to randomly order test execution. It looks like that project is no longer being maintained, and I am curious if there are any plans to support this feature in nose2 itself (or via its built-in plugins).

I don't have plans to work on it, but I'd accept and review PRs to add this capability.

For what it's worth, nose2 is pretty inactive these days. There are some requests from the fall that I keep meaning to get back to, and I haven't been able to make the time.

As the current maintainer, I would recommend that you consider pytest because it has a larger and more active community. I still will do my best to support anyone using nose2, but I want users to understand the current maintenance status.
