Setting up timelapse

Sorry for being a daft prick, but I just managed to setup the bot, though I cannot figure out how to set up time-lapse. I have done the optional step 5 during install.Should I be changing something in that script?

Hello my friend, don't worry, you are no a daft prick.

Here is how you would proceed:

1. The bot works "like klipper", if you need some functionality, you add a corresponding section with the needed parameters
2. All the stuff is documented on the wiki, third tab from the right.
3. You open the sample config section on the wiki, and scroll down to the timelapse section. There you can read, what each parameter does and pick and choose the ones you need.
4. Don't forget to restart the bot when you are done, so that the changes are applied.

By the way... Is there any way of getting the bot to capture a last frame after the print ends and the head moves back to the parked position? Most time-lapses end with the head still over the print, thus obscuring part of the finished product.

Sure, you can shoot a photo at any time in addition to the automated options.

So I had to tweak it a bit, but thanks to your initial indications I was able to arrive at this code:

The only thing missing is that it won't upload the finished timelapse to telegram, and I can't see a way to do it in manual mode. Is this correct?

The "create" message should build and upload the lapse. The code I sent you before, is the one I use for uploading. I will doublecheck that it works with semi-automatic mode as well.

I think I may know what is happening. This is the macro as I have it:

In SuperSlicer end code I have the LAST_PIC being called followed by END_PRINT.

When the print ends, it seems to error out. After moving to the position set by G1, it says it must home all axis. This cannot happen because there are now parts on the plate and collisions would be inevitable.

As I have stated before, this repo is the wrong place to learn writing macros.

@aka13-404 Thanks to your pointers and some persistence on my part, I managed to figure out where I was going wrong. I'll leave the macro here, if you don't mind, in case someone finds it useful for the future.

In SuperSlicer I added the LATS_PIC macro trigger AFTER the END_PRINT macro. This way, the END_PRINT macro parks the head away from the part and then the LAST_PIC macro can just take the shot.
In my printer.cfg, the LAST_PIC macro is:

One additional question from my side: is it possible to have the first picture also repeat for X seconds before starting the timelapse playback? Right now, I have managed to get the bot to take a first picture still at the edge of the build plate, then it does its magic, then at the end runs this macro, moving the head away before taking the final picture and creating everything. The last picture is repeated for 5 seconds in my case. Was wondering if we can do the same for the first one?
