tcp connection breaks after transmission

Hello,

Thank you for this great piece of software. I have been testing it for use with an opensource LIS to integrate some lab equipment for some very resource poor laboratories. sending data by serial connection works great. However when I send information by TCP the application terminates soon after transfer of the data.

Can you assist with the resolution?

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I am using the script below to send the ASTM message to the port. When I send by tty it works well without exiting your python application. The screen shot of when your python application is running without data send via tcp/ip. Thanks for your help in advance.
