Your latest issue seems to be related to passing something to nightwatch it doesn't understand. I'd need to see the config you're using and the command passed to nightwatch.

The issue before that seems to be because you're either trying to use Firefox as your browser without it being installed, or you don't have geckodriver installed or on your system path

Also, if you're running the test locally, you probably need to pass the config in to start the selenium server, which may explain the failures to connect to port 4444

Ok, it's quite hard to read through what you've put.

Can I suggest you use the code formatting tool (that's the '<>' icon) for stuff you're copying from files and the command line.

One point though. If you start geckodriver using the start_process: true method, then yes you don't need to run it separately from the command line, provided the path to geckodriver you supply is correct

This issue is likely because npm is expecting a package.json file in that directory, and cannot find one.

I would do as the error suggests and check you don't have some kind of security policy blocking npm from installing the dependencies. You might want to look at the logs it references to help you.

At any rate, this doesn't appear to be a nightwatch issue, you probably need support from npm if you continue to be unable to download these dependencies
