For example, in:

 |1 B2A2 A4 :|2 B2A2 A3c |[M: 3/4] e2gf d8 |

then the presence of the header that changes the meter causes a gap in the volta bracket line.

Seems to be a VexFlow issue as far as I can tell. See 0xfe/vexflow#840.
