Two new patterns were created to address the removal of tissues/organs (removal_by_location pattern) or the removal of some pathological phenotype (removal_by_phenotype). In order to create the second patterns, MAxO imports HP!

June 2020 release

This update covers a large overhaul of the pharmacotherapy branch.

  • Nearly all pharmacotherapy terms have new synonyms.
  • New phramacotherapy_chemicalsubstance pattern was developed to update most pharmacotherapy terms
    • This new pattern adds logical definitions using CHEBI. This is especially helpful because CHEBI uses 'has_role' to associate drugs and compounds with drug types.
  • 40 new terms have been added (see below)

  • Rearranged top-level terms to include 'therapeutic procedure' (MAXO_0000002), 'preventative therapeutics' (MAXO_0000017),
