It appears to be a joke. It was added in ad59ef9, part of a flurry of commits leading up to the removal of the null character which was causing Github to detect blns.txt as a binary file and so not show it in some parts of the UI. The following commit, ff6e9a7, added the terminal prank for people who use cat or type on the list.
I am actually wondering, is the "coma" thing an actual test string, a joke or... 😰
