Easy way to generate operations for all paths including the root path?

When using

kiota generate --include-path "/me**"

I would expect that MeRequestBuilder will contain GET and PATCH methods, but these methods are missing

I need to specify also /me

kiota generate --include-path "/me**" --include-path "/me"

It's not intuitive at all.

Thanks for reaching out and for using kiota.
On this one we designed with control in mind over convenience.
If passing only /me** also included /met#GET and /me#PATCH, how would you expect people who only want the sub-paths to exclude them? by adding explicit exclude filters?

Hi @baywet, it was my first attempt to generate client with Kiota and was not familiar with glob pattern which doesn't work this way.

@baywet Question regarding to excluding some operation. I would like to exclude DELETE methods, but it seems like that this doesn't work

kiota generate --include-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/**" --exclude-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/**#DELETE"

I need explicitly specify GET, POST and PATCH

kiota generate --include-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/**#GET" --include-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/**#POST" --include-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/**#PATCH"

out of curiosity, what happens if you provide the entire path for the delete exclusion?

Not sure if I provide the correct path (but it should)

--exclude-path "/directory/administrativeUnits/{administrativeUnit-id}#DELETE"

doesn't exclude DELETE
