I have the skype icon showing 2 notifications; upon reload of the plugin / Franz, still 2 notifications. Not a single notification in the official skype client.

Are you using the latest version skype web?

I think you are probably refereeing a known issue on the previous version of skype web. Dupe #513

It's a different issue; I have the latest version. I forgot in my original post: I'm on Mac.

In my case, Franz is always showing me 2 notifications; the '2' doesn't go away while there are unread messages, news, etc as confirmed by the official client.

This issue was probably fixed by 801fd15 and can be closed
