Not really sure how to explain it much more than I can not find any time when the bridge sees a m.room.redaction event that it deletes from the whatsapp side.
Deleting on both rooms with relay messages enabled and 1:1 dms do not work, however ive never had any issues with it bridging deletions from whatsapp back to matrix.
I have checked the logs spat out by the bridge and it makes no acknowledgement of the event.
I have tested on the latest release and this issue is still present.
For context I am using Dendrite, however I can confirm that every user on and not on my server can see the redaction correctly so I expect it to be an issue with the bridge. I do believe it worked at one point but then broke so it may be an api change?

Here is a screen recording showing what I am talking about, don't worry about that phone number as its me messaging one of my burner numbers
